Electronics and Communication Engineering
The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at Ashoka Women’s Engineering College was established in 2008 with the objective of providing quality education in electronics and communication technologies. The department focuses on building strong foundations in electronic systems, communication networks, and emerging digital technologies while preparing students to meet modern industry requirements.
Head of the Department
Dr. N. Mageswari is an accomplished academician and researcher with over 16 years of teaching experience in the field of Electronics and Communication Engineering. She currently serves as Associate Professor and Head of the Department of ECE at Ashoka Women’s Engineering College, Kurnool.
She is dedicated to delivering quality technical education by integrating teaching, research, and industry collaboration to enhance student learning outcomes and foster innovation-driven academic growth. Her areas of expertise include VLSI Design, Data Communication, Networking, and Artificial Intelligence-based applications. She has actively contributed to NBA and NAAC accreditation processes, faculty development programs, workshops, seminars, and various technical activities that support academic excellence.
Dr. Mageswari has published numerous research papers in reputed Scopus-indexed and international journals and presented papers at national and international conferences. She has also published patents in emerging technologies and successfully organized FDPs and seminars with sponsored funding from organizations such as DRDO and JNTUA.
She completed her Ph.D. from Anna University, Chennai, and continues to strengthen her research and technical expertise through NPTEL certifications, FDPs, and industry-oriented programs. Her commitment to academic leadership, innovative research, and student development makes her a valuable contributor to engineering education.
