Anti-Ragging

Ashoka Women’s Engineering College is committed to maintaining a safe, respectful, and supportive learning environment for every student. The institution strictly prohibits ragging in any form and ensures that all students feel secure and welcomed on campus.

Our Commitment

Students will refrain from ragging of any kind and those who violate this rule will face strict disciplinary action as per institutional regulations and the law. Any incident of ragging reported within the campus or hostels will be placed before the Anti-Ragging Committee, which will review the case and take appropriate action according to due process.

Students must take note that ragging is a punishable offense. Any student found indulging in ragging may face suspension, dismissal from the institution, and other disciplinary measures as applicable under the law.

As per the directives of the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India, institutions are required to take strict action against ragging and report such incidents to the concerned authorities when necessary.

Helpline

Students are encouraged to immediately report any incident of ragging or harassment through the helpline or directly to the college authorities.

Anti-Ragging Cell

The committee works actively to spread awareness about anti-ragging policies and ensures that all students understand the importance of mutual respect and responsible campus behaviour.

Complaint Submission Process

Students who experience or witness any form of ragging are encouraged to report the incident immediately. Complaints can be submitted confidentially through the Anti-Ragging Cell.

The committee will review the complaint, conduct the necessary inquiry, and take action as per institutional policies and legal guidelines.

All complaints are treated with seriousness, confidentiality, and sensitivity to ensure the safety and well-being of every student.
